Salatiga, Indonesia – As digital transformation continues to reshape higher education and research, emerging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Cloud Computing, and Data Analytics are playing an increasingly important role in improving teaching, advancing scientific research, and supporting data-driven decision-making. In response to these developments, international collaboration has become essential for fostering innovation, expanding academic networks, and creating sustainable research partnerships across borders.
To support this vision, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Universitas Indraprasta PGRI (UNINDRA), in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kelantan, Malaysia, will organize the International Visiting Lecturer (IVL) 2026 on Thursday, 6 August 2026.
The event is proudly hosted by PT Sinergi Ilmiah Indonesia (PT SILINDO), with the support of Universitas PGRI Silampari (UNPARI) and Universitas Muhammadiyah Sukabumi (UMMI) as co-host institutions.
Under the theme “Emerging Technologies and Their Applications in Education, Science, and Data Analytics,” IVL 2026 will serve as an international academic platform that brings together lecturers, researchers, students, and education professionals from Indonesia and Malaysia to exchange knowledge, expand academic networks, and strengthen long-term international collaboration.
Distinguished Opening Speakers
The event will officially commence with opening remarks from three distinguished academic leaders representing Indonesia and Malaysia.
The first Opening Speech will be delivered by Dr. (c) Meida Rachmawati, M.M., M.H., Ph.D., Director of PT Sinergi Ilmiah Indonesia (PT SILINDO) and a Lecturer in the Graduate Programs of Economics and Law. Her participation reflects PT SILINDO’s commitment to supporting higher education development through international academic initiatives and collaborative programs.
The second Opening Speaker is Prof. Dr. Mohd Afandi Mat Rani, Rector of Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kelantan, Malaysia. His remarks will emphasize the importance of cross-border academic collaboration in addressing the challenges and opportunities brought by digital transformation in higher education and research.
Completing the opening session, Prof. Dr. H. Sumaryoto, Rector of Universitas Indraprasta PGRI (UNINDRA), will officially inaugurate the forum, reaffirming UNINDRA’s commitment to expanding international academic partnerships and promoting innovation in higher education.
